About the Pre-ACT

The PreACT is a national test, which is administered by Hingham High School in April.  The PreACT simulates the ACT testing experience by providing students early exposure to ACT test-quality questions and predictive score ranges on the familiar 1–36 scale. It includes multiple-choice questions in English, reading, math, and science.  This helps students get comfortable with the testing experience and understand how they’re doing in core subjects. The PreACT also includes information about career possibilities, based on answers to the ACT Interest Inventory which students can use to start thinking about their future.  PreACT also provides career suggestions based on students’ interests.
